    Birds
In December thrushes increase in numbers and they become less shy. In 2012 Pale Thrush was present from the 8th. On the same day the jogging trail area also had a male Fujian Niltava and a female Mugimaki Flycatcher. Flowerpeckers are much in evidence in the coldest months of the year in the area at the top of thrush alley. They frequently sing and call from the tops of the trees on bright sunny days.
